I am trying to establish the date of death for
ELECTRA (LECTY, LETTIE) ROCKAFELLER HIGGINS
so that I can either look for an obituary or obtain a death certificate, both of those to the end of identifying her parents.

She was born November 1850. In both the 1860 and 1870 censuses she was living with the family of Nathan Smith in Clinton. (I believe she would have been a daughter of Catherine (Meligan) Smith from a previous marriage).

In 1871 she married Sylvanus Shaw Higgins and they lived in Raritan in successive census years. He died bef 1930 but Electra was still alive then, age 79.

If anyone with access to Hunterdon records can do anything to further this along, I'd be very grateful.
