Were there separate Winters and Winter families living in old Hunterdon and
Sussex Counties, NJ in the 1780-1800 time frame?
Also on the marriage of John Simson/Agnes Miller, does anyone know of Millers
living in Buck Co. PA at this time. I gather there was a bridge or ferry at
Lamberville??? Mike Miller
>From Marriages by Rev. William Frazier:
Jan 11, 1787, Simson, John and Miller, Agnes, Bucks, PA.
Jan 9, 1782, Miller, John and Winter, Mary, Amwell.
And from a kind soul who sent me this abstract:
Sussex County Deeds, Books A-E, p. 108, 10 April 1801: PHILIP MILLER of
Oxford and MARGARET his wife to ANDREW MILLER of same place ... 625 Pounds
.... the Equal undivided moeity of the following big snip JACOB MYERS part

GARDNER, HENRY WINTERS, SAMUEL NEWELLS, CHRISTOPHER SMITH & DEWITT'S ROAD.
