Mike,
There are 4 WINTERS & WINTER in the Sussex County Will Abstracts at Nancy
Pascal's site, all living in Greenwich.
Check out the following chronology, things changed alot over the time period
you're interested in. Took me a while to figure out just where I had to go
look for records, Flemington, Belvedere or Newton! (I can't remember the
county seat for Morris, opps)
Warren County was split from Sussex County in 1824
Sussex County was split from Morris in 1753
Morris County was split from Hunterdon in 1738-39
Hunterdon County was split from Burlington in 1714
Here's the url for the page of wills for "WINTER/S" at Nancy's site, also hit
the home button, there maybe more info :

Also check out Jan Raub's site on Warren Co.. she has a site search engine,
43 hits on WINTER, and 29 hits on WINTERS. The above county chronology is
taken from John O'Bien's Quick Reference (also on this site).
To all searchers in the upper portions of Hunterdon Co...Bethlehem, Lebanon,
Alexandria, etc., the site can be a great source...my ancestors changed
counties a number of times without even moving! Here's Jan's url:

And if you find or have any info on Henry & Catherine WINTERS' daughter Anna,
b. 11 Feb 1806, she's my 3X GGM !
Happy Hunting, Wendy Heitzman
