Thank you for this information. My husband's cousin, Lorrie (Dilley) Crompton, found the 1880 census with Austin, age 22, and I found him at age 11 in the 1870 federal census, but this 1860 data is very welcome. Now if only someone would come across his tombstone in one of Hunterdon's cemeteries. That would make my day. I also found a marriage record for Saxton Young and Mahala Smith in 1833 in Deats' Hunterdon Marriages.
