I have a John DUCKWORTH who was born in 1831 in NJ. He "may" be the John DUCKWORTH age 19 in the 1850 Brooklyn census who is boarding with a James LINDEY / LINDSEY , plasterer. I feel this is him because he immigrated to Toronto in 1860 and became a plasterer. He married Matilda NIGHTINGALE ca 1852 in NY or NJ. I'm betting that he is a grandson of John & Jane of Hunterdon,NJ or at least part of the Alexandria Twp. bunch, because he named his sons James, John and William.
Does anyone know who his parents were?
