I have sparse information that an Adam BELLIS was married to an Anne
SCHENCK. They had one son, Jacob (b.c. 1780), who married Ann DILTS,
apparently of Readington (my info is unclear; it could be that the marriage
took place in Readington). Another son, William (b.c. 1782) married Betsey
BREWER.

Does anyone recognize Ann DILTS or Betsey BREWER?

I am perplexed as to who Jacob & Wm's father, Adam BELLIS, might be. I am
fairly certain I have all the "Adam BELLIS's" in Hunterdon Co. accounted for
and matched up with their respective wives. Perhaps Anne SCHENCK was a
widow? Perhaps Adam BELLIS was from Somerset Co, where there lived other
BELLIS branches, but I cannot match him their either.

Any clues would be appreciated.
