Michelle-
Is it correct to assume that Stryker-Rodda includes everything that exists
for tax rateables for the time periods he covers and for the places he
lists?
I seem to remember that he offers two time periods (off the top of my head)
1773-74 and 1778-1780, but that only one of those periods covers Sussex Co
(and possibly Hunterdon?). I just checked and find that I have various
Sussex records for 1773-74 but that's all.
What I'm asking is, is it worth a trip to the State Library to look for ca.
1800 tax records for Sussex, or 1810 or 1820, or do they not exist if S-R
didn't include them?
