Thank you so much for your reply, but let me make sure I'm understanding
what you've written.

First, are you saying these tax rateables have been printed in the
Genealogical Magazine of NJ?

For instance, is
Municipality Date Book Box Item GMNJ Reel
Greenwich Twp. September 1774 1792 84 6 40:94-96 19

decoded to mean
Greenwich Twp = Municipality
September 1774 = Date (or, is it 1774 through 1792?)
84=Book
6=Box
40:94-96=GMNJ citation
19=Reel

If there is a GMNJ citation, I assume that one can see these records
anywhere that publication is available and not only by going to state
libraries or the county in question?
