Subject: [NJHUNTER] Report on John Haas found
Date: Sun, 16 Mar 2003 15:47:06 EST

Greetings,

A generous cousin has sent me a copy of a report on Revolutionary War Veteran
John Haas and his descendants. This report was compiled by Ruthanna Schomp
Ramsey, a descendant of John Haas, about 30 years ago. The report provides
considerable detail on John's life and documents many of his descendants
through as many as 8 generations. Mrs. Ramsey did considerable research for
the Daughters of the American Revolution. John Haas was not only a veteran
of the Revolution, serving in several battles such as the Battle of Monmouth,
but he was also a farmer, living near Bissell in Tewksbury TWP., a Justice of
the Peace, and served in the NJ State Legislature for many years during the
early 18th century. John Haas was my GGGGG GF and I'd be happy to entertain
look up requests from fellow listers who believe that they may also be
descendants of John.

Cheers,

Rick Novak
