Tradition has my great grandmother as Sarah E Steimetz 4 Jun 1849, NJ -1918 (married Edward Hamlin 4 Jul 1846, NJ- 1909). In my research I find many Stamets buried at the Straw Church. Since she and Edward and several generations of my Hamlin's and Beers also are buried there I really believe Sarah is the daughter of William Stamets1823, NJ-1885 and granddaughter of Henry Stamets 1792 NJ, 1880. I was told there is a Sarah E Stamets married Edward Hamlin and also a Sarah E Steimetz married Edward Hamlin. Does anyone know for sure who Sarah's father was? and what is the source?
