Peter H. Case & } This Indenture, made this first day of October
Sarah his wife } in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
to } and sixteen (1816) Between Peter H. Case and Sarah his wife
Wm. Williamson } of the township of Amwell in the County of Hunterdon and
(son of Cornelius) } State of New Jersey, of the first part, and William
Williamson
(son of Cornelius) of the township of Amwell aforesaid, of the second part.
Witnes-
eth, that the said Peter H. Case and Sarah his wife, for and in consideration
of the sum of four hundred and twenty Dollars legal money of the United
Stated, to them by the said William Williamson [?????], the receipt whereof
they
hereby acknowledge as have granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed
and by these present's do grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the
said
William Williamson his heirs and assigns, all that certain wood lot or parcel
of lands, situate in the Township of Amwell, aforesaid, laid off and
described
as follows, to wit. Beginning at a large white oak tree corner toward
page 333
lots' of Cornelius Williamson Esq. Henry Baker dec'd and land remaining to
the said Peter H. Case, thence (1) by said Cases land, north eighty six & ½
degrees
East eight chains and eighty eight links to a stone (2) by the same south
five
degrees East six chains and seventy six links to a stone in a line of land
late
of Daniel McC????, deceased, (3) by the same, south eighty six & ½ degrees
west
eight chains and eighty-eight links to a stone and (4) by said Cornelius
Williamson
lots north five degrees west six chains and seventy six links to the
beginning, ???
Containing six acres (Being part and parcel of the same land which the said
Cor-
nelius Williamson and Elizabeth his wife granted and conveyed unto the said
Peter H. Case, by deed bearing date the twenty sixth day of December A. D.
Eighteen Hundred and eight, recorded in the record of Deeds for said County
Vol 2.

the said Peter H. Case doth for himself his heirs, executors and
administrators, the land and covenant to and with the sad William Williamson
his heirs and assigns
That be the said Peter H. Case his heirs, Executors and administrators, the
land
and premises above granted, unto him the said William Williamson, his heirs
and assigns, against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to
claim
the same, shall and will warrant and forever Defend. In witness whereof the
said
Peter H. Case and Sarah his wife, have hereunto set their hands & seal this
day & year(first above written) his

State of New Jersey, Hunterdon County, S. S. Be it Remembered, that on this
fourth day of October A. D. eighteen hundred and sixteen (1816) before Thomas
Gordon one of the Judges of the court of Common pleas in and for the County
of Hunterdon ???? ??? appeared Peter H. Case and Sarah his wife, the grantors
????? in the foregoing Deed and severally acknowledged they signed, sealed
and delivered the same as their voluntary act and deed for the uses and
purposes therein expressed, and the said Sarah on a private examination,
apart from her husband, before me
acknowledged, she executed the same, so as aforesaid, truely without any
fear, threats or compulsion of her husband.
