Robert HOOD married Elizabeth McCARTY in 1771 in the
Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick, NJ. And a Jenny McCARTY
married Paul SCHOFF the same year in the same church.

Does anyone know more about these folks? Where did they
come from? Who were their parents?

The birth and baptismal Records of Zion Lutheran Church for
1770-1800 were printed in "NYGB & M" in a series running from
April 1900 to October 1903. However, there were no entries for
anyone by these names. Did they move elsewhere?

I appreciate any help. I am especially interested in the HOOD
family.
