Subject: [NJHUNTER] Resources in Hunterdon/Mercer Co.

I'm looking for information on the resources available for on-location research in Mercer and/or Hunterdon Co. The area of interest is Hopewell, which used to be Hunterdon and is now in Mercer, so I'm not sure where various records would be. I visited Hopewell a few years ago, but had little time. The museum was closed, but I did notice the Old Baptist Meeting House, which may have had some records of interest. Is this building ever opened to have a look inside? Are any old records extant?
What I am looking for is information on events between about 1780 and 1800. My ggg-grandparents were probably married in the Baptist church there about 1782 or so and lived in the area until they migrated to Kentucky in about 1798. Their names were Lewis Gordon, son of Peter Gordon and Mary Craig of Monmouth Co.; and Keziah Stout, daughter of John Stout and Mabel Sexton. There were a number of Stouts who moved from this area to Mason Co., KY between about 1795 and 1800.
I would really like to track down any marriage record or birth records that might still exist. Is there any chance of this? I've been through most of the records that are available on the Internet, but am hoping that there are more to look at. I am planning a possible trip for later this year and would like to know where I might go to in the area.
