Found none in Trenton. The closest wasa John who lived in Patterson in
Passaic county on page 287. There are a bunch of John's in the 1850 index for both
spellings, but none in Trenton. Trenton being in Mercer county the John's
that you might be looking for could be in Essex, Cumberland, Camden, Morris,
Middlesex counties for Doughterty spelling and in Atlantic, Monmouth, Cumberland,
Middlesex counties for Doughty spelling.
