I don't know whether this might help, but I have transcribed a release of
dower
for Anna Myers/Mires of Amwell, widow of Peter Myers/Mires, dated 1835.

Provenance: Isaac G. Stryker was my g-g-g-gf, and the papers were passed
down in my family for generations. I have had to take a break from my
transcription because of life, but I'm trying to get more of the papers
completed, as the other boxes (!) were destroyed during the flood of '38 in
CT, and while they're not safe online, if there is another natural disaster,
all is not lost :-).
