Good afternoon from Seattle,
As some on the list know I am researching Hans Peter, later known as JOHN
PETER LANTZ.

There are number of items I have not been able to verify and write the list
in hopes someone knows the answers and sources.

Hans Peter LANTZ, born about 1708 Speyer, in what is now Bavaria, arrived
aboard the Bilander Thistle Oct of 1738 with his two brothers, children and at
least one woman. The identity of the woman / women is not noted in either
Chamber's "Early Germans of New Jersey" nor in Jacob Lantz's "The LANTZ Family
Record".

I have seen that Hans Peter was married to a Anna Martha Wick, born 1712 born
"Eschweiler German". I have also seen that Hans Peter was married to wife
#2: Anna Maria Siever. Would anyone have documentation on either of these women?

Hans Peter is said to have passed away 1789 and buried in Carnarvon Township,
Lancaster Co. PA. Would anyone know the cemetery and be able to confirm his
date of death?

I have three children for Hans Peter:
John Niclaus Lantz born 1730
John Peter Lantz born 1736
John Paul Lance, born April 10, 1733
In the Mountain Farm History there is a claim that Hans Peter had a daughter
Mary. I think there is a mix up of generations here but wonder if anyone Can
anyone confirm this?

As always, I am searching for information on John Paul LANTZ and his son
ANTHONY LANTZ whom have as married to a MARY of unknown last name. ANTHONY LANTZ
is recorded as having two children: JOHN and JACOB. I think I know where JOHN
LANTZ is buried and some about his family but Jacob is still a mystery. Surely
there must have been more children. Would anyone have knowledge of these
people?

Lastly, would anyone know of Masonic membership in our LANTZ - LANCE people?
I am in hopes we can trace our people to Scotland pre crossing to America.

Thanks for reading and hope to hear from the list soon.
Laurence Lance
