Since I received several requests for further information on the CALVIN/COLVIN family following my last post seeking information as to the identity of the wife of Luther CALVIN (COLVIN), I decided there was sufficient interest to warrant posting the information here. I have had to edit the data to reduce the download time of the email. On many of the individuals, I have further information. I haven't worked on this line in a couple of years (have been trying to break through brick walls on the Moberly/Mobley branch!).

Some of the material comes from The Calvin Families by Claude W. Calvin. I have this book and can do lookups. I believe he published a second volume. Does anyone have it? I know the book has errors, so everything has to be checked. I've probably made a few myself, so if anyone notices any, or has any additional information, please post it for all to see, since several people seem to be researching this family.

For convenience I am going to use the CALVIN form throughout, but COLVIN can be substituted in almost every case. As far as I can tell, my ancestors did not use one form exclusively until sometime after they migrated to IN (about 1845).
