Perhaps this is his father:
"John Aller passed away at his home on Fourth street, Frenchtown,
Thursday evening, March 22, aged 44 years. Funeral services were held from
his late residence on Monday afternoon at 2:30 with interment in the
Frenchtown cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Orlean Haney Aller,
one son, William Aller, and one daughter, Mrs. Addie Snyder of Springfield,
Massachusetts; two grandsons and two granddaughters. Mr. Aller had been in
failing health for the past five years and had been confined to the house
for several months." [Hunterdon County Democrat, Thursday, March 29, 1923.]
Orlean L. Haney Aller was born in 1880. The dates for John Aller are
1879-1923 on his tombstone at Frenchtown Cemetery.
