Q. Where is Mount Carmel?

On 22 August 1757, Daniel Griggs made his will:

In the Name of God Amen I Daniel Griggs of the
Township of Amwell in the County of Hunterdon and Western
Division of the Province of New Jersey being Sick and
weak of Body but of Sound and Perfect mind mind [sic] and
Memory praise be therefore given unto God for the Same do
make and ordain this my present Last Will and Testament
in manner and forme following (that is to Say)

I Give unto my Two Sons named John and Joacham all
that Tract of Land I purchased of Charles Cox lying on
mount Carmel to part Share and Share alike in Quantity
and Quallity to be for them their Heirs and Assigns for
Ever

I was unable to locate Mount Carmel using www.topozone.com.
