Have you looked through the court records? If they are published I am not
aware of it. The court records have been a moderately beneficial aid to
my research. The Common Plea Minutes go back to 1714 (when Hunterdon Co
was first formed) and are housed in the Hall of Records in Flemington.
It's possible the Common Plea Minutes go back further concerning
Burlington County which governed the Hunterdon County area before 1714 but
I have not enquired. The Common Plea Minutes in the Hall of Records are
indexed.

Deeds go back to 1716. Mortgage records go back to 1766. Also, tavern
licenses and peddlar licenses go back to 1786 and 1763 respectively.
Coroner inquests go back to 1763. None of these records (except for the
mortgage records) have been published to the best of my knowledge.
