I don't believe there is anyone alive today who can vouch for the accuracy of all the information contained in this collection of anecdotes. I did not compare the numerous names with the Hunterdon Gazette Index, but many of those names where familiar to me as author of said Index. If you or anyone else wants to take the time to compare the listing with the Index, I am sure there will be some confirmations. To make a blanket statement that "Yes, all the information is accurate," would be presumptuous.
