Beverly,

This is a wonderful thing to do to honor all of our servicemen and women who
served in the defining war for our generation! My father and one uncle
served in the Pacific Theater and my other uncle was with (my 8th cousin!)
General George S. Patton in Africa and Europe. I have just registered my
father and uncles and will shortly be sending in their pictures to the site.

grateful daughter and niece of 3 WW2 servicemen

Greetings,

The National World War II Memorial will be dedicated on May 29, 2004
in Washington, D. C. It was funded almost entirely from private
contributions. The memorial will honor approximately 16 million
Americans who served in the US armed forces during World War II, the
more than 400,000 who died, and the millions of others who contributed
to the war effort as civilians.

The following is the URL for the National World War II Memorial.

http://www.wwiimemorial.com

The site contains a free registry whereby you can search and/or submit
names and details of a WWII honoree. After your submission is
validated, you will have an opportunity to upload a picture (optional)
for a fee of $10.00.

Let's all participate, and make sure that our Hunterdon County
veterans receive recognition and representation.
