I note that you're the SKS who answered the question of the previous
posting.
I don't know that I've asked you this before, but if so, tell me.

I'm hoping you could be an SKS again to check that card file for this name
that's been bugging me:

Electra Rockafeller (any variant spelling) Higgins (Mrs. Sylvester Higgins)
born 1850/1851

The last record I have for her is in Raritan Twp in the 1930 census as
"Lettie Higgins" where she had a boarder and was 79. I paid Geoff Cooper to
search the NJ death records 1930-1940 and he didn't find a record. I
suppose she could have died after the age of 89 but I thought other
explanations more likely (moved to PA, for instance). Hopefully an obit
from a local paper would appear in either instance.
In 1930 her son Wilson Higgins lived in Delaware Twp with his wife. He was
56 and probably their only child to survive to adulthood. (A genealogy,
Richard Higgins and Descendants, names him as their only child. There was a
daughter, Annie, 4, listed in the 1880 census but she disappears...could
have died or possibly - long shot - married)

This first name of Electra is a florid one and I have found her under almost
any other florid variant: Letty, Lecty, Letta, Lucretia

As I say, I consider you the primary SKS for Hunterdon and I may have
already asked you to check this name for me. My senior-citizen cat passed
away over Thanksgiving and she was the main reason I didn't go far from
home. I'm hoping, once the worst of winter passes, that I can make it out
to the HC~HS myself.
