According to the Rockefeller Genealogy by H O Rockefeller, William
Rockefeller b 1729 in Rocktown, NJ, served in the NJ Militia during the
Revolutionary War. Unfortunately that is the only info about it. Doesn't say
exactly when or his rank.

is not complete.
I tried ordering his records from NARA and they could not find him. I only
knew he "was a private in the Hunterdon Militia"
Any one have any suggestions?
