Very interesting discussion thread! I was intrigued so
I did a search and found some of my Hunterdon, N.J.
and Bucks,Penn. SLACK families went to Loudon and
Bedford Counties, Virginia in the mid to late 1700,s -
at least that is where they died. They may have first
been in Hampshire Co.
Am I to understand that double taxation was the
probable cause of this massive migration?
