I am the person looking for Electra, so thank you very much for even
thinking of me.

Here's where Electra shows up first:
She is listed as an 8-yr old child ("Lecty" Rockafellow) living in the
residence of my GGgrandfather, Nathan D. SMITH, in the 1860 census for Union
Twp. He was 27 and his wife, Catherine (Melligan/Meligan) was 29.
By the next census, 1870, Nathan and Catherine are in Clinton and have four
sons born during the decade. Electra, then 18, still lives with them.

From hints derived from those vital records, I hypothesize that Nathan and
Catherine married just prior to the 1860 record and that Catherine was
possibly married previously to a Rockefeller and that Electra is a daughter
from that marriage...or, union, as illegitimate children were sometimes
given their father's surname anyway. I have good information about
Catherine's family, most of whom (attn: Migrations!) moved to Illinois
during that period, but I don't believe that Electra was a niece or other
relative.

I've had many searches done for a death record for Electra but so far no
luck in identifying her parents.
