Lea,
After much hunting (much hunting lol) I have come upon James Stout
Rockefeller b Copper Hill Hunterdon Co. in 1816 d 1891, and his wife Judith
Ann Moore b 1821 d 1881. He was the son of Peter S and Ann Cowens. One of
their daughters was Ella another was Anna ? James Stout had a brother Jacob
and a sister Elizabeth. (Jake and Elie?)He had a bother Joseph, a son Joseph
and a son Joshua (Jossie?) Ann Cowens Rockefeller was b 1790 d 1872
(Grandmother Rockefeller died age 82?) Peters grandfather was Johann Peter
Jr my 5th ggrandfather. But I haven't found a Rebecca in with that bunch at
all. However since there is no info on brothers Jacob and Joseph it is
possible she belonged to one of them

Hello Sharon,
You really have a gold mine in that book, I am sure. I
would really like some help locating some Rockafellow
information, if you can take the time.
I have a friend (approaching 50 years old now) whose
g-grandmother was good friends with a group of
Rockafellow's in Hunderton Cty. I am trying to locate
the information on them.
The Rockafellow data is written in a picture album by
her g-grandmother's brother as follows (I have no
dates):
1) Grandmother Rockafellow died at 82
2) Stepmother Rebecca Ann Rockafellow
3) Jossie and Mary Rockafellow(husband and wife)
4) Aunt Judith & Uncle Stout Rockafellow
5) Ellen Ann Rockafellow (Aunt Judith & Stout's oldest
child)
6) Jake and his sister Aunt Elie Rockafellow
7) Peter Rockafellow
I understand if this is too much of a task without
enough information. I am not sure how your book is
organized ... but if you could find something out
about this connected group I would be most grateful!!
Thanks for your offer,
Lea Kabala
