Sarah, Henry is my line, so I have tons of info on him. Unfortunately, not
much on the Kitchen sisters in the book. It says simply that he married Ann
Kitchen born 1751, died in Alexandria, NJ Dec 22 1827. And then of course
lists their numerous children. Margaret has even less info. In 1767 he
married 1st Margaret Kitchen and lists their many children. In 1802 he
married 2nd Catherine LaRue. Margarets last child was born in 1784. Most of
the children were born in Sergeantsville, with their last 2 born in Amwell.
Also a nice little blurb on John and his involvement in the Rev. War.
Interesting that brother Peter also married a Catherine LaRue in 1806.
Coincidence or mistake on the authors part???? By the way, the author of
this book is Henry Oscar Rockefeller MD, historian of the Rockefeller Family
Assoc. Inc. And the original spelling of the name (always the source of a
good argument in my family) is Rockenfeller, I suppose because they came
from Rockenfeld, GERMANY. If you need any more info on children I'll be glad
to fill you in. Sharon

Sharon, Thanks! I have 2 sisters, m. to 2 Rockefeller brothers. Margaret
Kitchen, b. ~ 1750, m. 1767, John Rockefeller, b. 11/23/1742, and her
sister Ann Kitchen, b. 1752, m. 1767, Henry Rockefeller, b. 3/7/1747.
They were sons of John Peter Rockefeller, b. 3/22/1711, and Mary Bellis,
b. 1723.

Are the KItchen girls included in the History? Thanks. Sarah
