I don't believe the two John LAKEs are the same person. However, Phyllis
D'Autrechy did believe they were the same person but could offer no proof.
Likewise, I can offer no proof that they are different people. As far as
I can tell one John LAKE lived in Kingwood Twp and the other lived in
Amwell Twp. The fact that there were so very many John LAKEs who lived in
the Hunterdon Co area during the same time period makes research
difficult.
