nancy, it only goes to show that Chamber's book is not as well indexed as we
all would like. I was looking under "Tiger" and did not find Matilda. I didn't
look under LAKE. Same is true for my LANTZ - LANCE family. I've gone page by
page and still not recorded them all. One interesting note is I have a will,
dated I think 1830 for one of my LANCE men which was witnessed by a SHARPS and
I think FANGBONER too. That Sharps man was not listed in the Sharpenstine _
Shaprs list of Early Germans.
