MY REPLY:
Dear Jan Alpert,
---About the OSBORN/ORSBORN family. Thanks for the information. I'll look at
Joseph Osborn's Rev. pension record and see where he was in 1781-1782; but
the Henry and Abraham Osborn you cite are in his family.
---I owe you a huge vote of thanks, and we all do. I've been doing family
research for about 50 years, and I can't think of another example of
generosity such as yours.
---Now I have a question. Can I help you??? You mention the fact that you
borrowed this book on interlibrary loan. If that means that you don't live
near a big library, may I help you by looking something up? I live at the
corner of Broadway and 71st Street in Manhattan, with access to all the big
New York City libraries.
Please don't hesitate to let me know. I'd be very glad to reciprocate.
All good wishes,
Mary Jane Phillips-Matz
