Would the person who is posting the newspaper clippings of obituaries pleace
put the date and place of death and the name of the newspaper, the date it was
published, page and column number from which the obituary appears?
It is fine well and dandy to post the message, but the news item is totally
worthless without this information. I have no idea when the person died, where
he/she died, what the name of the newspaper the obituary appeared nor the
page or column number in order to document my records. Putting the NJHUNTER
website is one thing, but if the archives happens to fail, gets full, is
discontinued, etc., the information then becomes lost to future researchers.
So please, when posting obituary notices to the list, please include the
above information. Thank you.
