I agree with Pat, a disclaimer would most likely prevent future complaints.
But regardless if the dates/names of papers are missing, the info you are
posting is still valuable for research purposes and I also enjoying reading
your postings. THANK YOU for all of the time you have been putting into it
and for sharing your granny's collection.

Lisa, maybe you could post some boiler plate verbiage at the beginning of
each posting about the conditions in which you found the clippings - just
cut and paste the same statement about finding them without any
identification information and then proceed with the newspaper clipping
transcription. There will always be someone who didn't catch the earlier
postings that explain this but if it's in every posting, the problem should
go away.

Even though I have no connection so far to any of the people mentioned in
the clippings, I enjoy seeing them and agree that there are some good clues
to work with for those researching those family names.

everything, but we live in a less than perfect world. I am sure for those
who are
researching those names and have an idea who these people are, they are
gleaning clues from the articles even though they might not contain
everything that
they want.
