glad you posted more. I believe I found someone!!! (got to check my recs when I get home from work, but the name and place - Cokesbury - are definitely somewhere in my gedcom files) Based on the age at death, I think I can pretty much figure out the year of death. Mrs. HILDEBRANDT was (as noted) the daughter of John M. JOHNSON and Lydia JOHNSON - I think that Lydia's maiden name was HOPE, and that she was the daughter of Adam HOPE and Nancy (a.k.a. Anna) LOMERSON. (But this is from memory and I need to check). Now it appears, that I have the name of the Lydia's daughter's married name and other married females (which I wouldn't have had otherwise) - hopefully I am correct in my memory as to this person.

Thanks for the posting. Now, I wonder why your Aunt saved this one? Was Ms. Hildebrandt a friend or relation of your aunt?

Anyone interested in or with knowledge of the people listed in the HILDEBRANDT obit, please contact me.

PLEASE NOTE - The following newspaper clippings are from a collection found
after my great Aunt passed away. She unfortunately made no note of what paper
they came from or the date. I felt they may still provide important clues for
somebody and other listers agreed so I have been posting them regardless.
