PLEASE NOTE - The following newspaper clippings are from a collection found
after my great Aunt passed away. She unfortunately made no note of what paper
they came from or the date. I felt they may still provide important clues for
somebody and other listers agreed so I have been posting them regardless.
Miss Marie REILLY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. REILLY of Mountainville, was married to William H. HARTWICK of Valhalla, N.Y., Saturday evening, October 6. Miss Therest FISCHER, cousin to the bride, was bridesmaid and the bride's brother, Thomas REILLY, attended the groom. The ceremony was performed in the Methodist church at Cokesbury by Rev. J. Foster HAMILTON. The altar was banked with flowers, dahlias and ferns predominating. The couple stood under a large heart shaped arch made of crepe paper interwoven with sprigs of fern and dahlias. The bride carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white roses and her maid carried pink roses. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Levi FARROW of High Bridge. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. BROWN, an aunt of the bride. Sixty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. HARTWICK are on a trip to Toronto, Canada, where they will visit with the groom's mother and other relatives.
