Something I found while searching the web. Thought since there has been a lot
of Apgar's mention, this might be of some interest. Thanks goes to Dennis P.

Mr. F. A. Apgar died at his residence in Clinton at 6 o'clock on Sunday
morning, May 2, from dropsy, after a long and painful sickness. Mr. A. was
familiarly known as "Purdy" and had a large circle of acquaintances, all of whom
esteemed him highly. He was about 80 years of age, and unmarried.
