PLEASE NOTE - The following newspaper clippings are from a collection found
after my great Aunt passed away. She unfortunately made no note of what paper
they came from or the date. I felt they may still provide important clues for
somebody and other listers agreed so I have been posting them regardless.
HILDEBRANT - MAST
The marriage of Miss Edna Winifred MAST, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles MAST of 1052 Sanford avenue, Irvington, and Frank M. HILDEBRANT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac HILDEBRANT of Oldwick, took place last Wednesday night at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James BLAIR of 1052 Sanford avenue. The ceremony was followed by a reception at home of the bride's parents, at the same address.
Rev Samuel CHAMBERS, pastor of Kilbourn Memorial Presbyterian Church, Newark, officiated. A sister of the bride, Mrs. Edwin PFEIFER of Irvington, played the wedding march. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, had as her only attendant her sister, Mrs. BLAIR. Mr. BLAIR was best man.
The bride wore a gown of green transparent velvet and carried a bridal bouquet of white chrysanthemums.
For traveling she wore tweed ensemble suit trimmed with black fur. Mrs. BLAIR wore a gown of green crepe and lace and carried pink chrysanthemums. The couple are on a honeymoon at Virginia Beach. They will return Sunday and make their home in Oldwick.
