PLEASE NOTE - The following newspaper clippings are from a collection found
after my great Aunt passed away. She unfortunately made no note of what paper
they came from or the date. I felt they may still provide important clues for
somebody and other listers agreed so I have been posting them regardless.

Frank APGAR
Oldwick- Frank APGAR, 50, of Main St., Manville, former local resident, died Wednesday (March 17, 1965) in Alps Nursing Home, Wayne (N.J.), where he had been a patient three years.
He was born in Tewksbury Township. He resided all his life in the Oldwick area until he moved to Manville eight years ago.
He was employed for many years as a machine operator at Johns-Manville Corporation, Manville.
His wife, Mrs. Mildred RUNYON APGAR, died in 1949.
Surviving are two sons, Frank Jr., this place, and Edward, High Bridge; nine sisters, Mrs. Beatrice MUTH, Mrs. Michael ORLOVSKY, Miss Ida APGAR, Miss Jane APGAR and Miss Inez APGAR, all of Clifton; Mrs. Michael BROWN and Miss Josephine APGAR, this place; Mrs. Amos FRANK, Bernardsville, and Mrs. John MANN, Dunellen; two brothers, James and Marvin, both of this place.
Private funeral services will be held Sunday at the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. The Rev. Earl C. HOUCK, pastor of Califon Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in New Germantown Cemetery, Oldwick. There will be no viewing.
Mrs. Annie C. MARTENS entertained the following on New Year's Day: Mr. and Mrs. Charles EICK, Mr. and Mrs. John Y. EICK, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin APGAR and children, all of this place; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. HILDEBRANT, of Whitehouse Station.
The following officers were elected for a term of one year at the monthly meeting of the Hunterdon County Federation of Men's Bible Classes, held on Sunday, in the Clinton Methodist Episcopal Church: President, John C. GULICK of Whitehouse; vicepresident, John A. TRANSUE, of High Bridge; secretary, Charles P. FARLEY, of Oldwick; treasurer, John H. RAMSEY, of Clinton.
Marcus GLAZER's Will is Probated
Many Bequests Made By Former Boro Academy Principal
The will of the late Marcus L. GLAZER, one-time principal of Reading Academy, Flemington, was admitted to probate this week by Surrogate J. Knox FELTER.
Mr. GLAZER, in a will dated June 4, 1948, named his secretary-housekeeper, Miss Marjory K. STRADER, and his brother-in-law, Ernest SCOFIELD, of Newark, as executors of his estate, and requested Frank G. LOTT be employed as proctor.
Separate bequests listed in the will include a grave marker for the plot of Isaac STORR, and a $100 grant to the Union Cemetery Association of Grandin for the upkeep of the STORR graves.
Another $100 was granted the Fairmount Cemetery to be invested for the upkeep of the GLAZER plot. Two sisters, Mrs. Grace GLAZER LEIGH and Mrs. Elizabeth SCOFIELD, each are to receive $150, and Mrs. Jesse DEAN, a friend, and Mrs. Elizabeth LUTES, his father's housekeeper for 14 years, are to receive $100 each.
An apple orchard adjoining the SCOFIELD property at Fairmount is to become their property, and Mrs. LEIGH is to take title to a one acre woodlot adjoining her property. Mr. and Mrs. John RENWICK are to have the opportunity of buying five or six acres of the land at Fairmount before other offers are accepted and at a reasonable price.
Charles L. GLAZER, a son, was bequethed all personal goods including canes, watches, Masonic jewels, diplomas, badges, the Fairmount library books, and the dictionary and cyclopedia at the Flemington house, together with title to the Fairmount property, and ten shares of capital stock of the Postal Life Insurance Co.
All the remainder and residue, in addition to $1,200, and all household goods, with a guarantee of remaining in the Flemington house for six months, go to Miss STRADER. Also all renewal commissions on life insurance policies.
The bee colonies and equipment are to be appraised by State Bee Inspector Paul L. HOLCOMBE, and sold by Mr. SCOFIELD.
