T.B. MURPHY 83 Wednesday
The village blacksmith, Thomas B. MURPHY, who refuses to let the world, in
which he has lived to see the Civil War, World War, radio, airplane, automobile,
television, get ahead of him, will be 83 years old tomorrow
what a charming story. So...if Mr. Murphy was 83 and this written say 1933,
he would have been born about 1850. He likely learned his trade as an
apprentice from a realitive who was also a smithy.
