I am an new list member; this is my first post to the Hunterdon County
list. I am seeking old marriage records from early Hunterdon County. I
am a descendant of William Aller, Sr. who married Mary Dalrymple in
Baptistown, Hunterdon Co., NJ 10 October 1810. William Aller was the son
of Peter Aller and Anna Hoppock (married about 1781 Hunterdon Co.).
Mary Dalrymple was the daughter of Jesse Dalrymple and Ester Kitchen
(married 31 May 1778, Hunterdon Co.).

A cousin (now deceased) did genealogy research on this line; however, I
do not have hard copies of the documents she cites in her work. Does
anyone on the list have reference material that contains information I
seek, and if so, may I beg a look-up? Peter Aller was born 26 December
1756 in Amwell Twp., Lebanon, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He was the
son of Peter Aller born 1716 Westfalen, Preussen and Anna Elizabeth Kaes
(Case) born 6 Mary 1718 in Hunterdon County. The notes my deceased
cousin provided in the 1960's cite the Kingwood Presbyterian Church
Cemetery Records of Hunterdon County. The records of the Dutch Reformed
Church, Lebanon, Hunterdon Co., NJ 1763-1883 are cited for the birth of
Peter Aller born 1756. I am in need of marriage records for William
Aller, Sr. and Mary Dalrymple, Peter Aller and Anna Hoppock, Jesse
Dalrymple and Ester Kitchen. I have not been able to ascertain the
parents of Ester Kitchen. Any help is greatly appreciated.
