On a photocopy from the Readington Township vital records, June 1 1853 to
June 1, 1854 is the following marriage:
Swick, John Blane., of Clarksville (Glen Gardner) son of Peter & Catherine
Swick to Mahala Starker of Clinton daughter of ? and Abigail Starker. Date:
Sept. 24, 1853 by L. L. Comfort, minister in Whitehouse. He is age 25, she is age
18.
