I wish I could help, I have so little information on the Beavers surname.
Most of the surnames that I am researching are in Loudoun co. Va. by
mid-1700's.I believe [not documented ] two Beavers women married into the
James family. I have Jacob James married Anna Beavers, ca 1775? and
William James married Abigail Beavers, Abigail may have been William
James second wife. I do not a will I will share but, not sure if it will
anyone or not.
William Beavers made his will 26 Jul 1788.
In the Name of God Amen this twenty Sixth Day of July one thousand
Seven hundred and Eighty Eight I William Beavers of the County of
Rockingham in the State of North Caroline finding myself in a Low
declining State of health but of perfect Sence and Memory thanks be to
Almighty god for the Same Calling to mind the mortallity of my Body and
knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Die Do make and
ordain this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following that
is to Say First and principally I Recommend my Soul into the hands of
Almighty God Who Gave it me and my Body to the earth from whence it was
taken to Be Buried in Such Like manner as my Executors (hereafter
mentioned) Shall think proper and as touching the mortaly Estate
wherewith It hath pleased God to Bless me I Dispose of as
followeth Item my Will and Desire is that my Just debts and funeral
Charges Be first paid and Discharged Item I Give and Bequeathe to My
Daughter Abigail Beavers fifty five pounds Current money and one Bed
and furniture Item I Give and Bequeathe to My Daughter Rebecca Beavers
fifty five pounds Current Money and one Bed and furniture Item I give and
Bequeathe to My Daughter Mary McClellan Twenty pounds Current Money.Item
I Give and Bequeathe to My Daughter Elizabeth Hutchison ten pounds
Current MoneyItem I give and Bequeathe to My Daughter Anne James ten
pounds Current money Item I Give and Bequeathe to My Daughter Sarah
Hampton ten pounds Current Money
Item I Give and Bequeathe to My Daughter Hannah McClellan ten pounds
Current money Item my Will and Desire is that the Afforesaid Legacies
Except the Beds and Furniture Be paid out of the proffits Arising from
the Saw and Grist mill.~~~~ I Give and Bequeathe to my Loving Wife the
Whole of My Estate Real and personal Except as hereafter Excepted
During her Natural Life Item I Give and Bequeathe to my Son William
Beavers When he arrives to the Age of twenty one years the parcell of
Land Lying on the North West Side of the Branch Burning from a Big
Spring in James Gallaways Land Down to the Mayo River and at my Wife's
Death the Whole of my Land and Mills also
Vincent Manly a Servant Lad to Serve the Remainder of his time to My Son
William Beavers When he arrives to twenty one years of age
Item My Will and desire is that Should Negro Sue have any Issue My
Daughter Abigail Beavers shall have the first Live Born Child and My
Daughter Receeak [Rebeccah] Beavers the Second and at my Wife's Death the
said Negro and the Rest of her Increase if any Be Sold Except the third
Live Born Child Which I Bequeathe to My Son William Beavers When it is
two years old and Money arising to be Equally Divided among all my
Children.Item My Will and Desire is that my Loving Wife Abigail Beavers
and Thomas Henderson be Executors of this my Last will and
testament in testimony Whereof I have unto set my hand and Effixed my
Seal the Day and
