thanks for your response on my SUTTON/POTTER family members. here is some of
my line, just in case there's a match....
DANIEL POTTER b. abt 1747 NJ, married AGNESS or AGNER.
DANIEL POTTER SR., b. abt. 1768, married HANNAH SUTTON b. abt.
1768
DANIEL POTTER JR. b. abt 1799. ELIZABETH AUBEL (ABLE OR ABEL)
b. abt. 1794
JACOB NELSON POTTER b. 1827 m. ELIZA JANE LUTES (LUTZ) b.
1831
CHARLES STEWARD POTTER b. 1857 m ELIZABETH ANN
HILDEBRANT
b. 1849
MILLER H. POTTER B. 1888 my
grandfather.....
i believe that all the POTTERS were born in NJ and died in NJ and were in
HUNTERDON COUNTY (mostly tewksbury township - lebanon, mountainville (they
owned an inn there), califon areas.
any connections? my biggest problem has been getting backup for HANNAH
SUTTON and her line. i believe she was the daughter of JOHN SUTTON from the
GEORGE SUTTON, SARAH TILDEN line. a will said that HANNAH SUTTON m. a DANIEL
POTTER during the correct timeframe.... and i have a few other clues that
pertain to that..
any help you have would be greatly appreciated!
