To all list members,

Rootsweb, the host of this list, has brought a new server on line to handle the 28,000 lists that
they maintain. The previous server this list was on crashed because it was overloaded and forced
Rootsweb to bring on a new server. This list was moved to the new server.

AOL is very aggressive is trying to deal with the spam problem. When they see a new server sending
alot of email their way, they block the mail. They do this silently and do not tell the recipient
that the mail has been blocked. THIS IS AN AOL PROBLEM, not a rootsweb problem. Rootsweb has spent
alot of time trying to convince AOL that mail coming from rootsweb is not spam and users have asked
to receive the mail. So far they have not been very successful.

So, the end result is many AOL users are not getting all the messages that are sent. There is
nothing wrong with the list or rootsweb, it's AOL. Short of getting another ISP, there is not much
you can do. You can read all the messages that have been posted to the list in the archives. Go

of traffic on the list during the month of August so far.
