Debbie, I may ( almost certainly ) have to take this in bites as I'm an
almost single parent - wife is gone about 80% of the time....so here goes.
Firstly, you are very very welcome as for the help. I've been the recipient
of lots of help and it's pay back time...though I'm not sure I can ever repay
all the "random acts of kindness" I've recieved over the years....( Insert a
short ad here - I"m always on the lookout for my LANTZ - LANCE famly as I've
yet to find one living member of my line.) End of ad
now on to your people:
The family "COOL" is listed on pages 299, 300, 301 and 302 of Chambers
"Early Germans of New Jersey" 1895. It begins:
"Two famalies of different orgin spell their name alike and both reside in
the same part of Hunterdon Co. They were the Dutch family Cool, properly
spelled KOOL, and the German family, Cool, Cole, Kohl, Huhls, Koul eiel and perb.
Kaul."
You write : Here are the names;
Peter Kuhl/Cool B: 04/09/745
Paul Kuhl/Cool B: 04/29/756
Elizabeth Kuhl/Cool B: 1766
I find several listings of these name so I think I'd better send you the
line as Chambers records them.
He begins with the Cool people from Holland, but I do not find a "Peter" in
the group so on to page 301 and the German Cool people.
Chambers continues:
