Dawn,
I have been trying to figure out this Legere, Legear, Lequire, household for
a while. There is a Abraham Williamson married to Margaret Wood in Kingwood
Church. (married April 3, 1800) This Abraham's birth is Nov. 15, 1773. ( day
15 instead of 18?) My theory is that it is the same Abraham. This couple
had 9 children and the first one 1800 and the last one 1818.
The information for this marriage and children is at the Hunterdon County
Historical Society. Also Adam Wiliamson who married Eleanor Williamson his
cousin I think to Abraham's brother also in Kingwood Baptist Church.?
To make things more confusing I am a decendent of Abraham Williamson a
brother of Eleanor Williamson who married Adam Williamson. Eleanor's husband
Adam shows Adam's father on his death cert is Peter?
Bill Morrow of Texas told me that he has the Legere Pension papers and that
all the children listed are grandchildren of Adam Broach? I have not been able
to find much on Broach. Six Mile Run church records have a couple of Broachs
but nothing I can connect.
