Dear Teresa:

Alexandria and Kingwood were enumerated separately in 1850 -- Kingwood
having been mentioned as a separate place as early as 1749, and Alexandria
having been formed in 1765.

The German Reformed Church in Alexandria was closely allied to the local
Presbyterian congregation at Mount Pleasant, and they shared church
buildings from at least 1763 to 1802, at which point they merged. I cannot
tell you for certain where early German congregants were buried, but it is
highly likely that they also shared what is now known as the Alexandria
Presbyterian Church cemetery across the street.

Good luck.
