Hi all!!!

My name is Haskel MORRELL and I am researching the Thomas MORRELL family of
Hopewell, Hunrtdon, NJ. Thomas came from Long Island, NY the son of Thomas
and Martha______ Morrell. He was born abt 1688 in NY and died Dec1732 in
Hopewell. His will lists his wife as Mary(Roberts) and his children as
Martha, Mary, Hannah, Abigail, Daniel, John and an unborn child. Mary
Roberts MORRELL later remarried to Robert Combs. She died abt 1740 in NJ.
John, my ggggggrandfather,moved to Shenandoah Co., VA by the early 1770s and
later moved on to Sullivan Co., TN where the MORRELL family has flourished.

I was in Hopewell back in the summer while on vacation. Unfortunatly, we
were running behind schedule and only stopped for a few minutes at the
Hopewell library. (THE museum was closed that day.) I hope to make a return
trip in the not too distant future, although it is a pretty good road trip
from Tennessee.
