Dear Listserve Members:
This Thursday, 12/9, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., BooksNJ: The Capital
Bookstore will host a book signing of The Encyclopedia of New Jersey by
editors Marc Mappen and Maxine Lurie. If you've somehow missed the many
notices and messages about the Encyclopedia, published by Rutgers
University Press earlier this year, the tome contains everything you
ever wanted to know about our fair state--and perhaps even a few things
you'd rather not know!
Come see what all the fuss is about, meet the editors, and buy your
mother-in-law or the postman a signed copy as a holiday gift!
BooksNJ is a joint venture of the New Jersey State Archives and New
Jersey Historical Commission managed in partnership with the
Genealogical Society of New Jersey. Through December 31st, the entire
store stock is on sale for 10% off. Hundreds of New Jersey titles from
Arcadia Publishing's "Images of America" series are also on sale at 20%
off through the end of the year. BooksNJ offers a wide range of New
Jersey material from over eighty publishers nationwide. Recent
additions include several New Jersey Network productions, including the
wonderful New Jersey Legacy documentary series on DVD.
The store is located on the first floor of 225 West State Street,
Trenton, in close proximity to the State House, State Archives, State
Museum, State Library, Old Barracks Museum and War Memorial Theatre.
The store is open weekdays from 11:00 to 3:00. All major credit cards
are accepted, as are telephone and mail orders.
For more information, check out the store's website at www.booksnj.com
or come visit us at BooksNJ, where it's always "All New Jersey - All the
Time!"
Hope to see you for the book signing on Thursday.
With best regards,
Joseph R. Klett
