I don't have any info on PEGG but I do have quite a bit of info concerning
ROBINS & THARP (much of which was supplied to me by other researchers).
The oldest ROBINS/THARP marriage I have follows. If you (or anyone) would
like further info about the children or parents let me know.
17.14 Elizabeth Ann Robins
Father - 30.1 Jonathan Robins
Mother - Charity Lomping
17.15 Jonas Jarrard Tharp
Father - Ephraim Tharp
Mother - 17.17 Susannah Jarrard
Elizabeth was born on October 24, 1840 in Union Township, Hunterdon
County, New Jersey and died on July 5, 1932 in Union Township. She married
Reuben Runyon Wright on January 19, 1860.
Reuben was born on January 12, 1839 and died on March 25, 1871 in Union
Township.
In the 1860 census and the 1870 census Elizabeth's father, Jonathan
Robins, was living with Elizabeth and Reuben (or maybe they were living
with Jonathan ?).
After Reuben died Elizabeth married Jonas Jarrard Tharp on February 28,
1874. Jonas was born on September 5 (or December 6), 1848 in Bethlehem
Township, Hunterdon County and died in 1917 in Hunterdon County.
Elizabeth and Jonas lived in Union Township on land adjoining the original
Robins homestead.
Elizabeth and Reuben are buried in the Robins Family Cemetery. Jonas is
buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, New Jersey.
Children by Elizabeth and Reuben:
i. William, born 1861 in Union Township.
9.110 ii. Mary E.
iii. Calvin, born in 1864 or 1865 in Union Township, died November
4, 1877, buried in the Robins Family Cemetery.
9.111 iv. Harmon K. (or middle initial H.).
Children by Elizabeth and Jonas:
9.124 v. Roger Sherman.
9.152 vi. Charles Dickens.
